Meet Anna Untersee
In a world that’s both wired and noisy, people want to know who they’re really working with. So here’s a little about me.
I’m Anna Untersee — an eighth-generation Texan, Wimberley real estate advisor, wife, and mom. I’ve spent nearly two decades helping people find homes and land in the Texas Hill Country, and I still find myself deeply grateful for the life this place allows.
My work is shaped by lived experience. I’m a landowner, homeowner, and investment property owner, with a long-standing love for acreage, water, and the kind of properties that require thoughtful consideration. My very first listing was a 30-acre property on Lone Man Mountain Creek in Wimberley with a hand-crafted timber frame home-an experience that sparked my lasting appreciation for land, lifestyle, and the wonderfully eclectic people drawn to this area.
Outside of real estate, my life is centered around family and time well spent. My husband and I are raising our two children here in Wimberley, where we live on a small ranch with our three blue heelers, a few chickens, some bees, and a flower garden that somehow blooms year-round. We value faith, fitness, curiosity, and an outdoor-focused way of life, and we’ve made intentional choices to prioritize family over busyness.
I’m happiest outside-around a campfire with people I love, exploring rivers and trails, or traveling whenever the opportunity arises. I’ve slept under the stars, stayed in beautiful hotels, crossed oceans and mountains, and learned that the best places are often the ones that feel most grounded.
That love of challenge, movement, and community is also what led my husband and I to co-found Official Project Grit. We created the historic Immortal 32 Ruck from Gonzales to the Alamo and, in October 2025, my husband completed a 1,000-mile ruck across Texas in just 40 days-a journey later captured in a documentary focused on the power of doing hard things and addiction recovery. Seeing how rucking and community can change lives has deeply shaped my heart and continues to influence how I show up in the world. I personally love the physical and mental benefits of rucking, especially when done in community, and I’m proud to host the weekly 5-mile Rise & Ruck through Blue Hole in Wimberley. In 2025, I also completed two long-distance rucks of 15 miles each-experiences that reinforced the value of consistency, resilience, and shared effort.
Those same values carry into the way I work with my real estate clients. I bring steady, present guidance and a genuine investment in helping people make decisions that align with who they are and how they want to live. I believe real estate isn’t just about property-it’s about stewardship, clarity, and choosing a place that supports your life.
At the end of the day, my mission is simple: to help people find a home-and a lifestyle-that feels true to them. With me, you’ll find deep local roots, thoughtful guidance, and a sincere desire to help make your Hill Country chapter your best one yet.
Life really is better when you love where you live and the people you share it with.
